“Lev, we’re still here”

The big 2020 lockdown sent us all to our homes. Covid 19 had us all indoors, looking at each other, day after day, for several weeks. In a heartbeat, we all had to adapt and suddenly, the living room was the new office, the new classroom, the new drawing studio and the nursery, all at the same time. Going out, just meant taking the dog for a walk.

It was challenging because it was so immersive. It felt like one protection bubble with the shape of a deprivation experience. And the lack of information we still had by that time, about the virus, added to the extreme news coverage we were given by the media, only felt  like the right thing to do was to go back to bed and stay there.
