About Gaspar

Since a kid, comics and movies have always been a big part of my cultural background. Most of my professional life has also been very much image oriented - working in tv, news, advertisement, events –  so I guess, it’s only natural I try to make the most out of these languages to express what goes on in my mind, in my imagination, or how I end up expressing my daily observations.

In the studio, I draw on paper fragments of stories. Experiences lived by characters that keep developing themselves in each new piece. Like in a story arc. Sometimes, the next work is a continuity of the prior one. Other times, it’s not and it works as a poster, or something you would put up in your living room, while listening to an Arcade Fire song, really, really loud, before going surfing :)
